DN40 fountain water switch

 A Vario switching-valve system can create lively movement in fountain jets. It switches rapidly without changing the height or pressure of the water leaving the jet and provides a suitable mounting point for a correctly sized fountain nozzle. It works similarly to a solenoid valve, but with additional capabilities. Closing a conventional solenoid valve places fluid pressure on the pump and other equipment, causing unstable jet heights when several jets operate together. A Vario switch, however, has two outlets, allowing water to flow through one of them during switching. One outlet accepts a fountain nozzle, while the other discharges water. As a result, when one or more jets are activated, their heights remain constant and water pressure does not affect the height of any other jet. When the valve switches off, water drains through the discharge outlet back into the basin. This prevents static pressure or water hammer in pipes, pumps, nozzles and other equipment, minimises wear and keeps the jets at their adjusted, constant heights.
