Cascade fountain nozzle

For designing volumetric fountains, the Cascade nozzle is one of the best choices and one of the most widely used nozzles. Cascade nozzles create a cone of water and air as a foamy volume, evoking bubbling and surging water. They are most often installed in groups. The volume of water and lively atmosphere they create attract fountain designers seeking sculptural water displays with pleasant bubbling sounds. They are used most frequently in simple and volumetric fountains. Please note:

• The water level affects this nozzle's operation: the lower the water level is relative to the nozzle, the narrower and taller the discharge becomes; the higher the water level rises above the nozzle, the fuller and shorter the discharge becomes. This nozzle can be installed fully submerged, but it performs best when the water level matches the value recommended in the specifications.
• If a group of these nozzles is installed in a fountain with different water levels, a non-return valve must also be fitted before each nozzle. (Because the Cascade nozzle's outlet is below the water surface, installing these nozzles in separate basins at different levels causes water to drain from the upper fountain into the lower one.)
• For the desired output, the Cascade nozzle must be installed vertically. If angle adjustment is required, use an adjustable connector to achieve the desired angle.
